Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
With over a decade of experience in nursing and a Master’s degree in Counselling and Spiritual Care from McMaster Divinity College, it is my aim to bring an integrated perspective to psychotherapy.
I am a trauma-informed and evidence-based therapist who believes that meaningful change happens when we care for and consider the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. If one part suffers, it all suffers. My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and curiosity, always centering the person in front of me.
The name of my practice, Doing Well, reflects this belief. So often when we’re asked how we are, we respond with something like “fine,” “tired,” or “okay.” My hope is that through the therapeutic process, people can genuinely say they are doing well, not just in one area, but as a whole person.
I have spent my career caring for those in the most vulnerable sectors, working hard to create safety, honour their dignity, and ensure that their stories are held with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
It is my aim to help you navigate the nuanced ways in which experiences affect not only emotional wellbeing but also one’s sense of identity, safety, and connection.
Whether you're navigating a health crisis, mourning a loss, untangling complex relationships, or unpacking spiritual wounds, I’m here to walk with you and honour your story, your pace, and your values.
